ACL Fest single-day lineups: Paul McCartney kicks off Fridays, Travis Scott takes Sundays

We finally know which days the headliners will be performing at the 2018 Austin City Limits Music Festival.

AUSTIN -- The moment has finally come for music lovers across the country who were holding off on investing in 3-day tickets to the Austin City Limits Music Festival to instead see the exact artists playing on each day, both weekends.

As it turns out, Paul McCartney will be headlining both Friday nights for his first-ever performance at the three-day music festival; and in contrast, Odesza will bring their electronic sound waves to the second stage for all of the EDM fans on both Fridays. Metallica will the flip the ACL stage upside down for metalheads on both Saturday nights with Justice performing on the opposite side at the same time.

And after Childish Gambino, whose "This is America" single and video has inspired countless articles and Youtube videos dissecting its hidden meanings, dropped out of the festival due to an injury, Travis Scott is set to headline both Sundays, with the Arctic Monkeys performing on the opposing side.

And with less than two weeks left until the festival, all three-day passes to both weekends are sold out on the ACL Festival website. However, hopeful concert-goers can still pick up a weekend one-day ticket for weekend two. Those tickets are on sale for $100 plus fees.

Weekend One runs from Oct. 5-7, and Weekend Two runs from Oct. 12-14.
