Are liquor stores open on New Year's Day in Texas?
If you are looking to make a quick run to your local liquor store in time for New Year's celebrations, you will need to do so before Sunday, Dec. 31.
In Texas, liquor stores are closed on Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day, according to the Texas Alcohol and Beverage Commission.
