SAN ANTONIO — This year’s Fiesta party was not a celebration for one San Antonio couple. Police say a woman is facing charges after an argument that started because she thought her husband was looking at another woman at a Fiesta event.
Officers were called out to a home in the 200 block of East Baylor, south of downtown, on Saturday. The victim, 27-year-old Daniel Perez, Junior, reportedly told police his wife, 27-year-old Star Perez, were arguing and she grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed him in the left arm.
Perez also reportedly told police his wife threatened him, saying she could kill him. Police say Perez ran from his home and called police.
Police say Star Perez also took off and has not been yet been found.
Once caught, police say she faces charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
