BASTROP COUNTY, Texas — The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has confirmed that one person has died in a two-vehicle crash on Texas Highway 71 in Bastrop County on Sunday afternoon.
Highway 71 at FM 1209 was temporarily closed due to the accident.
As of 4:40 p.m., the road has been entirely reopened.
