TEXAS, USA — And the Grammy goes to...
The 61st Annual Grammy Awards took place Feb. 10, and eight Texans went home with the musical award Sunday night.
Kacey Musgraves from Mineola, Texas, scored big after she was nominated for four Grammy awards -- and won them all. She won Album of the Year and Best Country Album for "Golden Hour." She also took home an award for Best Country Solo Performance for "Butterflies." Musgraves also won Best Country Song for "Space Cowboy."
Austin's iconic Willie Nelson won Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for "My Way."
Fort Worth's Leon Bridges is taking home a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance for "Bet Ain't Worth The Hand." Bridges tied with PJ Morton's "How Deep Is Your Love."
Houston native Beyoncé, and her husband Jay Z, won Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Everything Is Love."
St. Vincent from Dallas won Best Rock Song and Best Recording Package with Willo Perron, for "Masseduction."
Shane McAnally, who is from Mineral Wells, Texas, also won Best Country Song for "Space Cowboy" along with Luke Laird & Kacey Musgraves.
Kirk Franklin, also from Fort Worth, took home the award for Best Gospel Performance/Song for "Never Alone," along with Tori Kelly.
Blanton Alspaugh won for Producer of the Year, Classical, for work that includes the Houston Grand Opera Juvenile Chorus, Houston Grand Opera Orchestra, Houston Symphony and Houston Symphony Chorus. Alspaugh was Music Director of KRTS in Houston from 1988-1995.
