Austin police release video of November aggravated robbery

The incident happened on Nov. 13 on Burnet Road.

AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are still trying to find two women involved in an aggravated robbery in November 2019.

Police said on Nov. 13 on Burnet Road at around 2:30 p.m., the victim agreed to meet one of the suspects to sell some property. According to police, the first suspect met the victim and spoke for a few minutes about the property, agreeing to make the sale.

The victim presented the property to the suspects, who were now inside of their vehicle, which can be seen in the video below. The vehicle is described by police as a late model, white KIA sedan with paper plates.

The driver of the Kia, the second suspect, displayed a weapon and told the victim they were taking the property without paying for it, according to police. Police said the victim tried to get the property back and was assaulted by the second suspect, resulting in non-life-threatening injuries.

Police released the above video on Thursday. 

Police describe the first suspect as a woman in her early 20s, with a heavy-set build, wearing glasses. The second suspect is also described as a woman in her early 20s with a heavy-set build, armed with a weapon.
