AUSTIN, Texas — Hundreds of volunteers are putting in a little work to make our parks better.
The Austin Parks Foundation is hosting "It's My Park Day" across town on Saturday.
Volunteers will work on projects to clean and improve local parks.

Last spring, more than 3,000 people volunteered for this event.
Organizers said the work volunteers do during "It's My Park Day" is the equivalent of seven park maintenance employees working full-time for a whole year!
