SXSW virtual reality station lets you check your unconscious bias

The CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion is on tour, providing a virtual reality experience to show how we view each other.

AUSTIN, Texas — South by Southwest (SXSW) is made up of plenty of virtual reality stations that are meant to be fun to go through. There's one experience, though, that has a bit more of a serious purpose, one that might tell you something about yourself you never realized.

Tuesday, people at SXSW got the chance to take the "Check Your Blind Spots" unconscious bias tour. There were different experiences that would challenge the way you look at certain situations and people as well.

Some people took phone calls while others viewed life literally through a different lens.

The CEO of Action for Diversity and Inclusion put together the experience, hoping to reveal the biases many of us may have but may not even realize, through virtual reality and gaming.
