COTA announces music lineup for F1 U.S. Grand Prix

COTA said it was so "confident in the strength of this year's entertainment lineup" that it's offering to buy back some previously sold passes.

AUSTIN, Texas — We now know who will be performing at the Germania Insurance Super Stage during this year's Formula One U.S. Grand Prix (USGP) at Circuit of the Americans (COTA).

COTA announced Monday morning that Sting will headline on Friday, Oct. 18, and Eminem will headline on Saturday, Oct. 19.

Sting's performance will be the singer's only visit to Texas amid his "Sting 3.0" tour. Eminem's performance will be his first headlining show in five years and will follow the release of his new album "The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace)," set to come out this summer.

COTA said tickets to the USGP include access to these concerts after racing ends for the day. You can learn more and reserve your tickets online

Meanwhile, if you have previously purchased "early bird" general admissions grounds passes, but you're not interested in seeing Sting or Eminem, COTA will actually buy your tickets back.

The venue announced earlier this month that it was so confident in this year's entertainment lineup that it is offering to buy back those passes for more than they originally sold for. Until May 6, COTA will repurchase any general admission 3-Day weekend grounds pass for $350. The tickets initially went for $299.

Interested ticketholders can view terms and conditions and fill out a form online.

The Grand Prix is scheduled for Oct. 18-20.
