If you don't like who's playing at this year's F1 Grand Prix, COTA will buy back your ticket

The Circuit of the Americas is making the offer because officials are so "confident in the strength of this year's entertainment lineup."

AUSTIN, Texas — For the first time, the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is offering to buy back tickets for the Formula One U.S. Grand Prix.

COTA said officials are so "confident in the strength of this year's entertainment lineup" that it is offering to buy back previously sold "early bird" general admissions grounds passes.

COTA said until May 6, one week after the music lineup reveal on April 29, the venue will repurchase any general admission 3-Day weekend grounds pass for $350. The tickets initially went for $299.

"It’s an opportunity for fans to turn their early bird passes into a financial win," COTA said in a social media post. "Whether you choose to keep your tickets and enjoy the shows or you decide to take a profit, you’re a winner!"

Interested ticketholders can view terms and conditions and fill out a form online.

COTA said a limited number of general admission, 3-day grounds passes will be available after the entertainment lineup is announced. Three-day reserved grandstand tickets are available now and start at $525.

Previous Formula 1 Grand Prix performers include Taylor Swift, Elton John, the Rolling Stones and Bruno Mars, among others.

The Grand Prix is scheduled for Oct. 18-20.
