AUSTIN, Texas — It was a chilly and rainy Saturday across Central Texas, but don't worry if you're still looking for some time this weekend to put up the holiday decorations. Rain came to an end late Saturday evening, from west to east by about midnight, and by Sunday morning we were left with just lingering clouds and some patchy fog.

This will quickly give way to a mostly sunny and warmer Sunday afternoon with highs in the mid-60s.The forecast stays dry through Wednesday as temperatures trend warmer each day. Highs will be back in the 70s by midweek.

Small rain chances start Thursday and Friday as another storm system nears Central Texas.

As of now, only isolated showers are expected, but we are watching the possibility of another cold front by next weekend. We'll fine-tune the details as we get closer.
