AUSTIN, Texas — The heat ramps up for Friday afternoon as temperatures trend about 10 to 15 degrees above the average for this time of the year.
Expect another sunny afternoon with highs in the mid-90s.
Another cold front will move through Central Texas Friday night. This will be a dry cold front so it will not bring a chance for rain or storms.
This front will bring cooler temperatures though, with afternoon highs much closer to average for both Saturday and Sunday.
This will provide an amazing weekend with upper 70s Saturday, and low to mid 80s Sunday with both days featuring a sunny sky.
The forecast likely stays dry through the beginning of the next week with a partly cloudy sky and highs in the mid to upper 80s for Monday and Tuesday.
