AUSTIN, Texas — Good evening Central Texas, it has been another warm and muggy day across the region, and tonight's forecast is expected to stay very quiet and mild as well.
Overnight temperatures will not fall out of the upper 60s, and by daybreak Wednesday morning our moist pattern could produce more patchy fog and patchy drizzle.
However, Wednesday night, will be the return of our significant rain chances this week. Some sparse storms are expected to develop around dinner time, and then a more substantial line of storms will push in from the Hill Country past midnight and into Thursday morning. More isolated and scattered rain and storms could remerge Thursday evening. For Wednesday, the Storm Prediction Center has issued a marginal risk, level 1 out of 5, for severe weather.
This weekend rain and storm chances stay on tap, be sure to check in with the forecast each day for possible changes. Drier conditions return on Monday and Tuesday of next week.
