Cool, fall-like mornings return to Central Texas this week

It won't be sweater weather, but it will feel like fall again!

AUSTIN, Texas — We missed the low humidity just as much as you did, and we're happy to report that it's made a comeback and is hanging around most of the week!

After a muggy and stormy week last week with lots of beneficial rain, a cold front pushed through Sunday that helped kick out the rain chances and gradually brought back the low humidity.

This front didn't bring a major temperature change with it, but you will be able to wake up to cooler mornings thanks to the lower humidity. Dew points will be in the 50s most of the week, which means it will feel "comfortable" outside for Central Texas standards.

A ridge of high pressure will build in, giving us a zero chance of rainfall all week long. We'll rinse and repeat the forecast every single day this week – sunny skies, lows in the 60s, highs in the 90s and low humidity. It doesn't get any better than that! Rain chances do make an appearance early next week.

If you weren't a fan of dealing with muddy spots at Weekend 1 of ACL, we have good news. The phenomenal weather pattern is expected to stick around through Weekend 2! That means no rain boots or ponchos are needed in your ACL Instagram-worthy pics this weekend. We are expecting it to be on the warmer side, with temperatures in the mid-90s.

The KVUE Storm team will have you covered with any changes that may arise in the forecast. Until then, enjoy the fall weather this week!
