AUSTIN, Texas — The triple-digit heat streak continues for Camp Mabry in August 2020. While triple digits remain in the forecast, highs will be closer to average (about 97°) for this time of the year.
A weak front moved through the region early in the week before stalling south of the area. The stalled front will keep slight rain chances south of the KVUE viewing area.
The "cold" front brought in a northeasterly breeze to begin the week, so highs trend cooler than the previous week, but overall remain near or just above average for this time of the year. The humidity will be slightly lower, making mornings more pleasant.
