AUSTIN, Texas — Authorities are investigating after a deadly crash along North MoPac Expressway in North Austin.
Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) and the Austin Fire Department (AFD) were called out to the southbound lanes of the North MoPac service road near Steck Avenue just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday after reports a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
Details on the crash are limited, but ATCEMS said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
