UPDATE: The woman in the crash, Susan Hard, 72, died as a result of the injuries suffered in the accident.
A crash that happened near North MoPac Expressway and Ranch to Market 2222 sent a woman to a hospital with serious injuries and two men to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries late Tuesday morning.
According to the Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, the collision happened in the southbound service road of MoPac and Northland Drive.
The Austin Police Department said RM 2222 and southbound MoPac would shut down for a few hours, but at around 12:30 p.m., the roadways reopened.
Police asked anyone with information about the accident to call the APD Vehicular Homicide Unit at 512-974-5576.
