A Central Texas little-league softball team is heading to the World Series!
The Smithville Little League Junior Lady Tigers won the U.S. Southwest regional tournament and are set to fly out to the World Series in Kirkland, Washington Friday evening.
According to the Little League World Series website, the team's first game will be against the Coamo Little League softball team from Coamo Puerto Rico Sunday, July 29.
