Marine vet helps dad with Alzheimer's dance with granddaughter

Three-year-old Paisley Evans shared a dance with her grandfather who has Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases, thanks to some help from her dad.

This 3-year-old had a heartwarming date for the princess ball-- her grandpa. Paisley Evans wanted to go dancing, so she donned her pink Disney dress, complete with a glowing tulle skirt. Her partner wore a white hospital gown.

With "Beauty and the Beast" playing in the background, she took her grandfather's hands to waltz around the room.

Her grandfather, Ricky Evans, has been living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and Parkinson's disease at only 66 years old. His symptoms first began in 2011.

Ricky's son, Dean Evans, a marine veteran, left military service in December after serving eight years to live with his parents in Waldorf, Md., so he could help care for his father.

So when Paisley reached for her grandfather's hands, it was Dean who helped hold his father up. Three generations swayed together, in a moment caught on video and posted to Facebook, where it has been viewed over 600,000 times.
