San Antonio resident becomes millionaire from scratch lottery ticket

SAN ANTONIO — A San Antonio resident has won the grand prize of $1 million in a Texas lottery scratch ticket game, the Texas Lottery said Tuesday.

The $1,000,000 Crossword ticket was purchased at Refuel 342, located at 7664 Tezel Road (Suite 103), in San Antonio. The lottery winner elected to remain anonymous and has not been identified.

This was the second of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. Overall odds of winning any prize in $1,000,000 Crossword are 1 in 3.41, including "break-even" prizes.  The $1,000,000 Crossword ticket costs $20 over the counter and there are approximately 10,162,000 tickets in the game.
