LIBERTY HILL, Texas — Williamson County Sheriff Robert Chody said Williamson County SWAT has arrested a man for aggravated assault.
At around 9 p.m. on Saturday, Sheriff Chody tweeted that deputies were searching for an armed suspect near the 18000 block of West Highway 29 in Liberty Hill.
That area of Highway 29 was shut down while the deputies searched.
Sheriff Chody said the suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his mid to late 30s and was wearing a black shirt and shorts.
Now that the man is in custody, there is no longer any threat to the public.
