WILLIAMSON COUNTY -- A suspect led authorities on a chase in Williamson County Sunday.

@SheriffChody first tweeted about the incident around 12 p.m. The suspect crashed out near Round Mountain Road and Nameless Road in Leander.

Sheriff Robert Chody wrote that the suspect was believed to be suicidal, with warrants for aggravated assault. It was reported that the suspect was detained around 12:10 p.m. The suspect rammed a police car. Officers were forced to use non-lethal round to detain the suspect.

Sheriff Chody said a police K-9 named Nemo was in the police car, though the dog was uninjured.

According the sheriff's office, the pursuit lasted for about 20 miles.
