AUSTIN, Texas — Medics with Austin-Travis County EMS (ATCEMS) report that three people have been taken to the hospital after two vehicles were involved in a rollover crash on State Highway 71 Friday afternoon.
The crash occurred just after 4:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of East SH 71, heading eastbound near State Highway 130. The crash caused all eastbound lanes of SH 71 to be closed Friday afternoon.
At least one person was ejected from their vehicle. All three people involved were taken to the hospital. Two are dealing with critical life-threatening injuries, while the other has non-life threatening injuries. Two patients were taken to St. David's South, and the other was taken to Dell Seton.
