PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Pflugerville is closer than ever to having a huge solar power plant farm after nearly a decade-long wait.
The Pflugerville City Council voted Tuesday to approve an agreement with RRE Austin Solar.

The goal of the agreement would be to build the farm by 2020 outside of city boundaries on the eastern edge of the city's extraterritorial jurisdiction.
When the farm is complete, it will provide power to more than 23,000 homes.
