PFLUGERVILLE, Texas — Travis County authorities are investigating after a car was found submerged off Cameron Road east of Pflugerville on Monday morning.
According to Nick Perkins, fire chief of Travis County ESD No. 2, emergency services responded to the single-vehicle accident in Cottonwood Creek near 18811 Cameron Road around 8:45 a.m.
When crews arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle in the water and a man dead in the passenger seat.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the accident.
Perkins said more details will be released as they become available.
