Police have identified the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Mopac in December.
Police said Elijah Perales, 22, was traveling on the right shoulder of Mopac when an SUV drifted to the right and struck him. Perales was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the SUV stayed on the scene and officers are working to determine whether charges will be filed, according to police.
All southbound lanes on Mopac and the Capital of Texas Highway ramp were shut down due to the fatal crash, according to Austin police.
The crash happened at 10200 N Mopac Expressway southbound.
