AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Fire Department responded to a burning house in South Austin on Sunday morning.
The fire happened on Cherry Meadow Drive, near West William Cannon Drive and Menchaca Road. Firefighters got there around 1 a.m.
Crews worked to put out the fire. They also completed several searches inside the home. It's not clear at this time if they found anyone inside or if anyone was hurt.
Officials asked drivers to avoid the area.
