AUSTIN, Texas — Ten people from six units will be displaced after a Northwest Austin apartment complex fire Tuesday night.
According to the Austin Fire Department, the cause of the fire was accidental and it started in a chimney flue.
Officials estimated the damages at $150,000 structural and $50,000 in contents.
No injuries were reported, but the victims will be assisted by the High Oaks Apartment Homes management.
Fire crews were expected to remain onsite, 11028 Jollyville Road, overnight.
