SANMARCOS, Texas -- Firefighters in San Marcos were busy Friday night fighting a fire at Bikinis Restaurant at 1437 North INterstate 35.
A spokesperson for the City of San Marcos said the fire started around 7:30 p.m. Friday at Bikini's Bar & Restaurant on the I-35 access road near Aquarena Springs Drive.
Fire crews were able to knock the fire down by 8:15 p.m.
Witnesses tell us there are people standing outside the restaurant. There are no injuries.
Flames are shooting through the roof. It does not appear that any of the surrounding businesses are in danger.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. The fire is under investigation.
