DPS offers reward for San Antonio fugitive

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- The Texas Department of Public Safety is offering a reward for information leading to the capture of 46-year-old Raul Ambrosio Jimenez Jr.

Jimenez is a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Texas Syndicate gang member, DPS says. He is wanted for trafficking of a person under 18, sexual assault of a child and probation violation. DPS says he has a lengthy criminal past.

DPS says it is offering an award of up to $20,000 for any tips received in the month of March that could lead to Jimenez's capture.

Jimenez's last known address was in San Antonio, and he has ties to the Bexar County area. His criminal record includes prostitution, burglary, vehicle theft, counterfeiting, resisting officers and drug charges.

Jimenez is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 210 pounds. His tattoos include a female figure, a scroll and dragon on his upper right arm and a male face and tower on his upper left arm. He also has a scar on his left eyebrow.

Anyone with information can provide anonymous tips in four different ways:

  • Call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-252-TIPS
