Man wanted for Memphis murder arrested in Cedar Park

After his arrest, Devin Trust was booked into the Travis County Jail, where he will await further judicial proceedings and extradition.

CEDAR PARK, Texas — A man wanted for murder in Memphis, Tennessee, was arrested this week in Cedar Park.

According to the U.S. Marshals, 21-year-old Devin Trust was wanted for a December 2023 homicide in Memphis, where four people were hit by gunfire. Two of the victims later died from their injuries.

On March 7, the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force out of Tennessee requested help from the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force's Austin Division to find and arrest Trust, who was believed to be hiding in the Austin area.

Members of the Austin Division investigated and found Trust in the 3100 block of Colonial Parkway in Cedar Park. He was surrounded by officers at a residence and taken into custody.

Trust was then transported and booked into the Travis County Jail, where he will await further judicial proceedings and extradition back to Tennessee.
