2 dead following apparent shooting at North Austin game room

Austin police say two men are dead following the incident. A woman was also injured.

AUSTIN, Texas — Two people are dead following an apparent shooting in North Austin.

Austin police say they received a call about multiple people shot at a game room near Parkfield Drive and West Rundberg Lane just before 5 a.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found two men with signs of trauma. After attempting to perform life-saving measures, both men were pronounced dead at the scene.

As police were investigating, they learned a woman showed up at an area hospital with injuries believed to be related to the incident. According to Alexandra Parker with the Austin Police Department (APD), the woman's injuries were unknown at the time but she was stable.

At the time, it remains unclear what led up to the incident, but police say multiple people were arguing before the reported shooting, which happened outside of the game room. Police did not say if there was a possible suspect at this time or if there were any other injuries.

Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact APD's Homicide Tip Line at 512-477-3588.
