DALLAS — McDonald's new beverage-led spin-off restaurant, CosMc's, has opened in Far North Dallas.
The Dallas location is the first to open outside of the chain's home state of Illinois. The first CosMc’s opened in December in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Numerous other pilot locations are expected to open in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, as well as in San Antonio in 2024.
According to state filings, another CosMc's is set to open at 5341 McPherson Blvd. in Fort Worth, the Dallas Business Journal reported. The DBJ also reported a CosMc's could also be built in Allen, at 1975 Newman Ave., according to a March 11 TDLR filing.
CosMc's menu items
CosMc's offers a menu of coffee, lemonades, tea, slushies and energy drinks, all with customization options. Although its food menu will lack burgers and fries, CosMc’s will offer McDonald’s Egg McMuffin and M&M McFlurry along with its own creations like the creamy avocado tomatillo sandwich and pretzel bites.

CosMc's posted about the opening of its Dallas location on social media Tuesday.
"Dallas, TX just got a lot more flavor," the restaurant posted to Instagram.
