AUSTIN — Keith Urban and Luke Bryan were already set to headline the iHeartCountry Festival by AT&T in Austin, Texas, in May. But now, another famous name has been added to the lineup.
11-year-old Mason Ramsey, otherwise known as the "Walmart Yodel Boy", will now perform at the festival in Austin, as well.
Ramsey appeared on the Bobby Bones Show Tuesday morning, where he announced he would come to Austin May 5 to perform at the iHeartCountry Festival.
iHeartRadio confirmed on Twitter shortly thereafter that the 11-year-old yodeling YouTube sensation will grace the stage along with the other household names in country music.
Ramsey rose to fame after a video of him singing "Lovesick Blues" by Hank Williams in a Walmart went viral online. Since his performance for local Walmart shoppers, Ramsey has performed at The Grand Ole Opry, Coachella, and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Ramsey has also released a single titled "Famous", which cracked the top 10 on the iTunes top 100 chart.
