(CultureMap Austin) -- Austin, Dallas, Houston and San Antonio restaurants often garner top rankings and land on "best of" lists, but only one Texas restaurant
by the exclusive Forbes Travel Guide. Released annually, the prestigious list critiques the world's best hotels, restaurants and spas based on 5- and 4-star rankings.
The Inn at Dos Brisas, a swanky resort located about halfway between Austin and Houston, was the only Texas establishment in any category to land five stars.
"We are thrilled," said Inn at Dos Brisas' Managing Director Steve Shotsberger in a press release. "We look forward to continuing to provide our guests with exceptional farm-to-table cuisine with the introduction of our new five-course chef tasting menus."
