Things to do in the Austin area this weekend: Pecan Street Festival, iHeartCountry Festival and more

Here's a look at some of the events going on in the Austin area this weekend.

AUSTIN, Texas — The weekend is upon us and, as always, there are a ton of things going on in the Austin area! From fun festivals to a record convention, there's no shortage of fun activities happening over the next few days.

Here’s a breakdown of just some of the events you can attend this weekend.

Spring Pecan Street Festival

The 49th Annual Spring Pecan Street Festival will be held this weekend in Downtown Austin. The street fair gathers artists, craftsman, musicians and food vendors on Sixth Street – historically known as Pecan Street. The festival is held twice a year, in the spring and in the fall.

This year's music lineup includes Lena Luca, The Tiarras, Lion Heights, Los Kurados and more.

When: 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday

iHeartCountry Festival

The iHeartCountry Festival returns to Moody Center on Saturday, with a stacked lineup that includes Jason Aldean, Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, Old Dominion, Lady A, Riley Green, Ashley McBryde, Brothers Osbourne and Walker Hayes. Tickets are still available online.

And don't forget: the festival kicks off with a free pre-show from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Dell Technologies Plaza. That will feature performances from Riley Green, Chris Lane, Walker Hayes, Ashley Cooke, Chase Matthew and Kelsey Hart.

When: Ticketed event starts Saturday at 7 p.m.

The Austin Record Convention

The biannual Austin Record Convention is back at the Palmer Events Center. The event prides itself on being the "largest sale of recorded music in the USA." During the event, more than 300 dealers from all over the U.S. and Europe spread out over the 40,000 square feet of floor space.

General admission tickets are $5, and early shopper admission is $30.

When: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday

Where: Palmer Events Center, located at 900 Barton Springs Road
