Here's the mail, it never fails. It'll make you want to wag your tail!

"Blue's Clues" is making a comeback, but with a brand new host and a new name.

Nickelodeon announced that they are rebooting the 1996 original series as "Blue's Clues and You."

It will feature everyone's favorite blue puppy girl, Blue, and her brand new pal: actor Joshua Dela Cruz. You may recognize him portraying Disney's "Aladdin" on Broadway.

Dela Cruz will be hosting the 20-episode series.

When it came to choosing Dela Cruz as Blue's companion, a familiar face played a role in the decision making. (We'll give you a clue who: He wore a green striped shirt in the original.)

That's right! Steve Burns, who hosted the original series from 1996 to 2003, helped choose Dela Cruz.

"I had the great honor of being a part of the search for the new host, and I give Josh two thumbs up! He can definitely fill my shoes, and the rugby shirt," Burns told People.

There isn't a release date for the new "Blue's Clues and You," but Dela Cruz posted on Instagram: "Looking forward to another new adventure #bluescluesandyou #toronto #summeradventures".
