Jessica Cha joined the KVUE News team in March of 2024 as an on-air reporter and multi-skilled journalist.
She is originally from Greeley, Colorado, a town just an hour north of Denver. She graduated from CU Boulder, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
Jessica spent the past two years working as a multi-skilled journalist and fill-in anchor at 13WMAZ in Macon, Georgia, telling stories "Straight from the Heart," ranging from gun violence to severe weather coverage to local politics.
She is Korean-American and can speak some Korean – she’s working on it! – and loves being able to tell community stories in a meaningful, creative and accurate way.
When she’s not working at KVUE, she loves to read, play the ukulele, find new places to eat and hang out with friends and family.
Jessica is excited to be in the Lone Star State and looks forward to getting to know more people.
