Toxicology report reveals LSD in Jamie Minor's system

The Travis County Medical Examiner's Officer has released the toxicology report for Jamie Minor, the young woman whose body was found in a air duct last summer.

AUSTIN -- The Travis County Medical Examiner's Officer has released the toxicology report for Jamie Minor, the young woman whose body was found in an air duct last summer.

According to the ME's office, the 26-year-old hostess at the W Hotel died from hyperthermia. According to its toxicology report, the temperature in the air duct in which Minor was found was 115 degrees Fahrenheit.

The toxicology report reveals that LSD, an extremely potent hallucinogen, was found in her liver tissue.

Minor was fired from her job on May 23, the last night she was seen alive.

People who saw Minor at the hotel that night said she was acting strangely. One witness described her behavior as manic, which is why colleagues called a taxi for Minor. She never took it.

Several weeks later, a maintenance man found some of Minor s personal belongings on one of the floors of the Norwood Towers garage at 7th Street near Congress.

Investigators later obtained surveillance video that showed Minor trying to get into the Norwood Towers, presumably to see a friend who worked at a restaurant there.

For unknown reasons, when Minor wasn t able to get in, police said she went to the parking garage and tried to enter the restaurant through the ventilation system.

She got stuck, and her body was found three weeks later.
