How are cities chosen?

In order to become one of Livability's best places to live, there are a number of components up for consideration. These include economy, housing and cost of living, amenities, transportation, environment, safety, education and health.

Among those eight factors, some more specific aspects of consideration are walkability, population density and culture amenities. In order to qualify, cities should host an average population ranging from 75,000-500,000, with homes priced at $500,000 or under.
