AUSTIN, Texas — The Austin Fire Department (AFD) battled a car fire on the Interstate 35 southbound frontage road near the Stassney Lane exit Saturday evening.
Officials do not yet know what caused the fire. Traffic delays only lasted for around an hour, as traffic began flowing normally once again just after 7 p.m..
It is unclear if the driver was injured, or what type of vehicle caught fire.
