Aspiring rock stars raise funds to benefit musicians recovering from Harvey

A group of young Austin rockers are raising funds to benefit musicians recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

Efforts are still going on to raise money to help rebuild Texas after Harvey, and some of those efforts are being spearheaded by local Austin rock stars.

Austin's Band Aid School of Music wrapped up their "Rock for Relief" concert on Sunday featuring students from the school's Rock Band program.

Organizers said all proceeds from the program are going to help musicians recovering from Hurricane Harvey.

The young rockers raised $530, but are still raising funds online. Learn more about the program and how to donate here.
