Two people were reported to be involved in the collision, and one was "reportedly ejected from their vehicle."

AUSTIN, Texas — A rollover collision early Monday morning has left one person as a trauma alert and one in an unknown condition.

Around 6:50 a.m. on Nov. 7, Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services (ATCEMS) medics were called out to the 200 block of East Slaughter Lane for a rollover collision. The Austin Fire Department was also called out to assist ATCEMS.

Once on the scene, medics discovered that the collision involved two vehicles with one rolled over. Two people were reported to be involved in the collision, and one was "reportedly ejected from their vehicle," a tweet from ATCEMS stated.

One person was declared a "trauma alert" and was transported to St. David's Medical Center with critical, life-threatening injuries. The second person was evaluated by medics on-scene and refused EMS transport to the hospital.

Drivers are advised to expect delays near the scene and to use alternative routes. EMS is no longer on the scene.
