AUSTIN, Texas — Lengthy traffic delays were expected on Tuesday evening after reports of a bridge strike on Interstate 35 at State Highway 29.
TxDOT first reported the incident around 5 p.m., saying that crews were hoping to have the lanes open soon.
Northbound I-35 was reduced to a single lane. All lanes remained open after SH 29.
At this time, it is unclear what the strike entails.
No further information was immediately available.
