AUSTIN, Texas — Austin police are investigating after a person was found dead near West Campus on Sunday morning.
According to Austin-Travis County EMS, first responders were called to the 2500 block of Leon Street just after 10 a.m.
An adult was pronounced dead on the scene.
The Austin Police Department said based on preliminary details, the death is not being investigated as a homicide at this time.
