Police reconstructed the scene of a crash that killed two children -- ages 1 and 8 -- near a Cedar Park Walmart.
Cedar Park police said the crash happened around 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10 at Walton Way and West Whitestone Lane. The crash involved a red SUV and a black pickup truck.
Police said the occupants of the SUV included an adult female driver and the two children, identified as Daniel Chaudhary, 1, and Elijah Chaudhary, 8. The female was taken to St. David's has been in a coma since the crash, police confirmed Jan. 17.
The black truck contained a male driver and female passenger who were both treated on scene and released, police said.
Police added that a witness pulled one of the children from the vehicle and confirmed that at least one of them was buckled in.
No charges have been filed; the investigation is ongoing.
