AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead after being hit by a vehicle in South Austin on Saturday night.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. at the 10000 block of Menchaca Road, near Slaughter Lane, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
An adult was pronounced dead on the scene, EMS said.
Motorists are asked to expect traffic delays and avoid the area if possible.
