TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas — Police have identified a man who was found dead in southeastern Travis County Wednesday, according to the Travis County Sheriff's Office.
The body, identified Thursday as 31-year-old Johnny Cardenas, was found at the intersection of Blocker Lane and Von Quintas Road, which is approximately four miles southwest of Circuit of the Americas.

Police said officers responded to the 9800 block of Blocker Lane in southeast Travis County to investigate a suspicious odor. Deputies found Cardenas' body just off the roadway. The Travis County Sheriff's Office said Thursday it was investigating the incident as a suspicious death.
