AUSTIN, Texas — Austin Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly assaulted for wearing a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat.
Police say the alleged incident happened on March 2 at approximately 11:30 p.m. in the 300 block of E. 6th Street.
A report has been filed and police are reviewing video of an officer’s interaction with the victims and witnesses.
