Forecast: Warming up heading into Easter weekend

Here are the latest updates from the KVUE Weather Team.

Wednesday afternoon was something, especially over western Travis County, where we had multimple reports of hail that made it look like a scene straight out of February 2021 in some spots. We sincerely thank all of those who sent us photos and/or videos.

With that, we expect to stay warm and dry through not only your Thursday but also your weekend as well, with highs getting to the lower 80s for your Easter weekend. However, we expect to be breezy at times, with gusts getting to around 35 mph at times.

However, as we head into early next week, we're tracking another disturbance that could bring in a scattered shower or storm Monday night into Tuesday, before we drop back into the 70s for the middle of next week.

THURSDAY:
Sunny and pleasant. South wind at 5 to 10 mph.
HIGH: 77

THURSDAY NIGHT:
Partly cloudy with patchy fog possible. South wind at 5 to 15 mph with gusts around 20 mph.
LOW: 57

FRIDAY:
Sunny and pleasant. South wind at 5 to 10 mph.
HIGH: 79
